Frequently asked questions

What should I bring with me?

All you need is yourself! Everything on the night is provided for you! Lastly, we set up and break down for you, so all you have to do is relax, unwind, and have fun!

What is PAINTED?

The PAINTED party is a paint and sip event! In a two-hour painting session, we teach you how to paint a masterpiece. Upon entering, you will receive your first alcoholic beverage and all the materials needed! During the event, we will have a professional instructor lead you step-by-step through the painting process, so don't worry if you've never painted before.

What is the location of PAINTED's event?

The Waikato region is home to multiple PAINTED events. Please arrive 15 minutes early to find your seat. Head to the bar and receive your first drink free!

PAINTED's event sounds interesting. Would I enjoy it?

Whether you're looking for an event, a group, or a group exercise, painted is the place to be. Come along to Hamilton's ultimate paint-and-drink party and witness the joy of painting and drinking! This event is perfect for those who have never touched a paintbrush before! An experienced artist will guide you step-by-step in creating your very own masterpiece.

What if I have no idea how to paint?

Most people who attend PAINTED events haven't painted since primary school, but that hasn't stopped them from finding a new passion and skill. Give it a try; you might be surprised!

Is there a time when I should arrive?

It would help if you arrived at the venue 20ish minutes prior to the start of the event. It allows you to find a seat and to head over to the bar. We will provide the first drink.

Could you let me know what the canvas size is?

You will paint on a stretched canvas measuring 12X16inches (30x40cm). It comes already framed and ready to hang after the event is over. Some paintings take a lot of time, so the canvas size may differ. The details of the event page will specify these changes if this is the case.

Is there an age requirement for attending?

There is a strict age restriction of R18, unless accompanied by a parent/guardian.

Is it possible to give my ticket to a friend?

Please email or message PAINTED with the name of the person you wish to transfer your tickets to.

How do refunds and cancellations work?

'No Shows' will not be rescheduled, and refunds will not be given. As long as you give up to 72 hours notice before your session, you can switch your booking to another date. If you need to cancel or reschedule within 72 hours of the session, there is a $20 rebooking fee per seat. Limited seating is the reason for this. For rescheduling information, email Info@painted.nz or message PAINTED via Facebook at www.facebook.com/Painted

If I have a question, how can I contact you?
