Naked - Live Drawing Workshop
21 Jun, 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Hamilton,
266 Victoria Street, Hamilton Central, Hamilton 3204, New Zealand

Join Painted for this introduction to drawing live naked models, held on a Monday night. In this fun and casual Hamilton bar, you will learn basic techniques, tips and tricks, plus gain practical experience in drawing a live nude!

Nudity has historically been a massive inspiration for several diverse artists’ bodies of work. To capture a human’s most natural form of being is seen as taboo in some groups. However, in an artist’s world, and in Painted’s eyes it is considered magical and liberating.

Naked is for anybody who wants to have first-hand exposure to drawing a human body in a casual setting. You may be wanting to create a piece of art that you can hang in your home. Or you may be wanting to go deeper and explore yourself as an artist or maybe you just want to try something new. Whatever your reason, come along and experience the magic.

Imagine, working with charcoal, exploring the details of the human body and seeing the art come alive gradually.

For many of us, it can even help us slow down, relax and get out of our comfort zones.

It is a practical workshop, we will begin with some basic warm up exercises  and games, which will help you understand how to put figures on paper. We provide all the materials for you to make your own art under the guidance of our expert mentor.
